Hello and Happy Friday,
What a great week we have had! The class is finishing their study of the grasshopper and how it affects our ecosystem. They are also getting ready to start their first Social Studies unit on laws. We will have a guest speaker on the 21st of September. Judge Gustafson will be visiting our classroom to dicuss her role in our justice system.
Just a reminder to return your child's handbook form. It is located in the student handbook. It is the very last page. Just tear it out and send it back. If you need one sent home, just let me know and I will get one for you.
It has been a great year so far and I am looking forward to all the wonderful things we have scheduled for this school year. Our first field trip will be in October to the NILE. The students will be taking a close look at our community's agriculture and ranching systems. It is a great learning experience for the students.
