I am so excited to be back to school! I hope all the children had a great break. I was happy to see them smiling as they entered the building Monday morning. All of them had great stories and experiences to share with me.
A new calendar year has started and we are very excited about that. It is almost 3rd quarter. Can you believe it? During 3rd quarter our class will be starting their first science unit for the year. Social Studies is now over for the 2010-2011 school year. Don't forget about the Science Fair March 10th from 5:30 to 7:00. It will be held in the new gym and middle school. Our class with also start practice for the 3rd/4th grade play that is performed every year during the last two weeks of school. The children have so much fun practicing and performing the play. It is truly a great experience for them.
Just a reminder that 2nd quarter ends next Friday and report cards will go home Wednesday.
