Good Afternoon,
This week has been amazing. The students are working so hard and we have had a lot going on at Elder Grove.
Caroline Arnold came to our school on Tuesday and we welcomed her with a nice breakfast and beautiful artwork. Thanks EGPA for the wonderful breakfast and to Mrs. Gunderson for the organization of the beautiful artwork.
February is I Love To Read month and there are a bunch of exciting things planed. Next Friday is sweats day. Have your child wear their sweats to school. Also, if you know of anyone who would like to come into the class to read, I would love to hear from you.
It looks like spring is just around the corner since the groundhog did not see his shadow. I don't know about you, but I am ready for some nice weather. The kids have been in all week and are feeling a little couped up. Hopefully this weekend they can get outside and do something fun.
Keep encouraging your child to do their best. This is the time of year when they start to feel a little burned out. We do have a nice break coming up the 18th and 21st of February. I am sure all of the students are looking forward to a four day weekend.
Keep checking to see what's next on the agenda. I will do my best to keep you posted. I hope you all have a great weekend.
Mrs. McMorris
