Hello and Good Morning!
The end of 3rd quarter is this Wednesday, March 23rd.. This quarter has really gone by fast! It seems like just yesterday we were starting 3rd quarter and Christmas just ended. Summer will be here faster than we think, so let's continue to buckle down and work hard.
The children in my reading class are finishing up "The Whipping Boy" and will be starting on "Charlotte's Web". This book is one of my favorites! The children really enjoy reading it and there are a lot of fun learning activities that go along with this book.
This week in science we will be blasting off our volcanoes! Thank you parents for allowing your child to bring in the items they used for their habitat. The students are excited to see what happens to their habitat they created. After this activity we will enter the world of the water cycle and then head towards an energy unit.
Our class play is coming along well. The children are having a great time learning the new songs. We are almost ready to audition for speaking parts.
Don't forget about this Friday, the school carnival! The EGPA has put a lot of work into this event so I hope everyone is planning on attending.
