Reading grades 3/4  - AR required points for 3rd  quarter is 15 point.  3 points in nonfiction, 3 points Native American, and 9 points fiction.
This week we are still working on our non-fiction novel, Marco Polo.  This is a great novel but more difficult than the other novels we have covered.  We will be working on chapter questions and art projects.  This is an AR novel and can be tested on when we are finished for part of the 3 points needed for non-fiction.
Math 3rd grade
We are still working on multiplication with 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6,7, and 10.  The flash cards will still be coming home nightly to help your child memorize these facts.  Please go over these flashcards, then sign and date the parent sheet.  We will also be working on decimals.

Social Studies 3rd and 4th grade  We are learning about different regions of the United States.  We are creating a book that contains information about the different region and states.  Students should not have homework.  They are given time in class to do their assignment.  If they do have homework it is because they did not finish it in class.  Please check your child's planner nightly.
