Reading grades 3/4 - AR required points for 4th quarter is 20 point. If they reach 25 points, they may join our pizza party!!!
This week we will start the novel, “The Whipping Boy”. This is a difficult book for the students but lots of fun! We create some great art projects with this novel. The setting is in Middle Ages and the language is Old English. It is a difficult read that really challenges the students, but they will love it.

Math 3rd grade
This week we are working on volume. There will be two nights of homework to make sure the students understand the concept. I will give them time in class to work in it but if they do not finish it will come home.
Social Studies 3rd and 4th grade We are learning about different regions of the United States. We are creating a book that contains information about the different region and states. Students should not have homework. They are given time in class to do their assignment. If they do have homework it is because they did not finish it in class. Please check your child's planner nightly.
