Skill  - Contractions

Reading grades 3/4  - AR required points for 4th quarter is 20 point.  If they reach 20 points, they may join our pizza party!!!
This week we will still be reading the novel, The Whipping Boy.  This is a difficult book for the students but lots of fun!  We create some great art projects with this novel.  The setting is in Middle Ages and the language is Old English.  It is a difficult read that really challenges the students, but they will love it.  This week the class will try to finish the book.  We will be creating our own The Whipping Boy books focusing on the story elements.

Math 3rd grade

This week we are working on a review of the year’s skills that were covered.  There will be an end of the year test in the week to follow.  There will only be homework on Monday and Thursday this week.  Please check your child’s planner nightly.

Social Studies 3rd and 4th grade  We are learning about different regions of the United States.  We are creating a book that contains information about the different region and states.  Students should not have homework.  They are given time in class to do their assignment.  If they do have homework it is because they did not finish it in class.  Please check your child's planner nightly.
