Reading Class  - AR required points for 1st quarter is 10 point. 

This week in Reading our class will be starting a Flat Stanley novel, Stanley Flat, Again!  While reading this we will be working on answering comprehension questions in complete sentences, synonyms, sequencing, predictions, and the concept of friendship.  

Math Class                                 

My Math class is learning all about base ten and place value.  Here are somethings we will be focusing on:

ü Place Value to the 10,000

ü Rounding

ü Greater than, less than, and equal to

ü Expanded form and Standard form of numbers

ü Writing and Reading numbers in the 10,000 range

 

     Science

The test will be Wednesday, Sept. 5^th.  We will be reviewing on Tuesday.  We will also be constructing volcanoes later this week.  The class will get to explode their volcanoes on Monday, September 10^th.
