Reading Class  - AR required points for 1st quarter is 10 point. 

This week in Reading our class will be continuing our Flat Stanley novel, Stanley Flat, Again!  While reading this we will be working on answering comprehension questions in complete sentences, synonyms, sequencing, predictions, the concept of friendship, antonyms, and homonyms.    

Math Class                                 

My Math class is learning all about base ten and place value.  Here are some things we will be focusing on:

ü Rounding to the nearest 10, 100, and 1,000

ü Ordering Numbers

ü Greater than, less than, and equal to

ü Patterns

 

     Science

 We will be finishing up the water cycle this week.  The test for this concept will be on Thursday, September 20^th.  (A study was sent home on Thursday, September 13^th.)
