Reading Class - AR required points for 1st quarter is 10
point.
This week in Reading our class will be starting
the novel, Abracadabra! We will
be working heavily on dictionary skills during this novel. We will also continuing working on comprehension
and writing skills. The class will be
presenting a magic show for our parents on October 25th at 2:15 in
the little gym. A note will go home
explaining our project and the expectations.
Math Class
My Math class is learning all about number
values and properties. Here are some
things we will be focusing on:

Science
The science classes have switched
teachers. I will now be teaching Earth
science to Mrs. Staffileno’s homeroom.
Mr. Leintz will be teaching physical science to my homeroom and Mrs.
Staffileno will be teaching Life science to Mr. Leintz’s homeroom.
I will be teaching your child about Earth
Science for the next six weeks. This
week we will be learning about the layers of Earth, rocks, weathering, and
erosion. I will send home a study guide
for the first test on Wednesday the 10th
of October. This study
guide should have everything your child will need to know for the test. The test will be Tuesday, October 16th.
