This week in Reading our class will finish reading
the novel, Lumber Camp Library.
The class will be working on higher level thinking questions, story
elements, DOL, and verbs.
Math Class
My Math class is learning all about estimation
and regrouping in addition. Here are some
things we will be focusing on:

signs)

minute Timings on single digit addition
and subtraction facts

Science
Ø Mrs.
Staffileno’s homeroom: I will be teaching your child about Earth Science for
the next 6 weeks. This week the class
will be learning about the water cycle and all of its elements. A test that is tentatively scheduled for next Tuesday, November
5th. The study guides will be coming
home Wednesday, October 30th.
Ø Mrs.
McMorris’ homeroom will be in Mr. Leintz’s science class for the next 6 weeks
learning about physical science.
