·      Tuesday  Folders will go home October 8^th , please sign and return them Wednesday, October 9^th .

·      MAPS testing continues Monday and Tuesday, October 8^th and 9^th.

Reading Class  - AR required points for 1st quarter is 10 point. 

This week in Reading our class will be reading the novel, Lumber Camp Library.  The class will be working on higher level thinking questions, story elements, DOL, and possessive nouns (singular and plural).

 

Math Class 

My Math class is learning all about estimation and regrouping in addition.  Here are some things we will be focusing on:

·       2 –digit Regrouping with subtraction

·       3 –digit Regrouping with subtraction

·       2 minute Timings on  single digit addition and subtraction facts

Science

This week the class will continue to extend their learning with our solar system.  We will be studying the planets along with focusing on our moon and its phases.  A study guide was sent home October 4^th.  Their last test will be on the phases of the moon, October 11^th.
