Reading Class - AR required points for 2nd quarter is 12
point.
For the next few weeks in Reading my class
will start the novel, Sarah Plain and Tall. The class will be working on verbs. This will include verb tenses (past, present,
future), linking verbs, irregular verbs, special verb “be”, and helping verbs. We will also be studying synonyms, antonyms,
homonyms, and similes. Comprehension
questions will also be a consistent tasks with this novel.
Math Class
My Math class is focusing on missing addends
and multistep step story problems.

Staffileno’s homeroom: I will be teaching your child about Earth Science for
the next few weeks. This week the class
will be learning about our solar system including the planets and their
characteristics. Your child will also be
focusing on the 8 phases of the moon. A study guide was given out last week to
help your child study for their phases of the moon test on Friday.

McMorris’ homeroom will be in Mr. Leintz’s science class for the next few weeks
learning about physical science.
