Spelling
Words:
No spelling this week. We will be working on creating our own
Christmas stories during this time to read to the 1st grade class.
Reading Class - AR required points for 2nd quarter is 12
point.
This week in reading our class will be reading
the novel, The Best Christmas Ever by Sylvia Green. The class will then be researching cats and
completing projects on this information.
The focus this week is how to research information and create a report.
Math Class
My Math class this week is focusing on multiplication.

facts with factors of 0,1,2, and 3
· Flash cards will start to
come home every night to practice.
Please sign the parent signature sheet so your child can receive credit
for homework.
Science
Ø Mr.
Lientz homeroom: I will be teaching your child about Earth Science for the next
3 weeks. This week the class will
continue learning about the water cycle. Your child received a study guide for
their test that is tentatively scheduled
for Tuesday, December 17th. The study
guides came home Wednesday, December 11th.
Ø Mrs.
McMorris’ homeroom will be in Mrs. Staffileno’s science class for the next few
weeks learning about Life science.
