·      Spring Parent Teacher Conferences Wednesday, April 9^th 1:00 to 7:00 – not all students will attend a conference.

·      Early out Wednesday, April 9^th @ 1:00

Reading Class  - AR required points for 4th quarter is 25 point.

This week in reading our class will be completing the SBAC testing. Tests are Monday through Friday 8:15 to 10:15.  We will also continue with our novel, Anne Frank.

 

Math Class 

My Math class this week is working on our fraction unit.  This is a big unit for 3^rd grade and may take some time.  Here are a few other concepts we will be working on as well:

·       Timings (Rocket Math) Multiplication and Division

·       Ordering fractions

·       Story problems with fractions

 

Social Studies

I will have my homeroom for Social Studies for the next 6 weeks.  The class will be learning all about communities and the 3 branches of government.  We will be creating a community book that follows the standards for this subject.  We will also be studying the history of Billings during this time.
