Reading Class  - AR required points for 1st quarter is 10 point. 

  This week in Reading our class will be continuing the Flat Stanley novel, Stanley Flat, Again!  While reading this we will continue working on answering comprehension questions in complete sentences, synonyms, sequencing, predictions, and the concept of friendship, along with character traits and character goals.  

 

Math Class                                

My Math class is learning all about base ten and place value.  Here are some things we will be focusing on:

ü Place Value to the 10,000

ü Greater than, less than, and equal to

ü Expanded form and Standard form of numbers

ü Writing and Reading numbers in the 10,000 range

 

Science

This week the class will be learning about the solar system and the phases of the moon.  A study guide will go home next Tuesdays, October 14th for the test on Tuesday, October 21^st.  This will be the last test for the Earth Science section of Science.
