Reading Class  - AR required points for 1st quarter is 10 point. 

This week in Reading our class will be reading the novel, Lumber Camp Library.  The class will be working on higher level thinking questions, story elements, DOL, special plurals (nouns), and similes.

 

Math Class 

 

My Math class is learning all about counting equal groups and relating that skill to multiplication (repeated addition).  We will also be working on skip counting and two step story problems.

 

Science

Mr. Leintz’s homeroom: I will be teaching your child about Earth Science for the next 5 weeks.  This week the class will be exploring the water cycle and it’s elements. The test is Monday, November 10^th.  A study guide will be sent home Monday, November 3rd.  The next concept in science will be space, planets, and the phases of the moon.

Ø Mrs. McMorris’ homeroom will be in Mrs. Staffileno’s science class for the next 5 weeks learning about Earth science.
