Spelling Words Week of Dec 19th

 NO SPELLING THIS WEEK!!!!

 

Reading grades 3/4  - AR required points this quarter is 15 point.
This week we will be working on persuasive writing and our winter stories  The students will be learning how to brainstorm ideas and organize their writings.  We will also be working on conventions and punctuation.


Math 3rd grade

We are still working on multiplication with 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10.  The flash cards will still be coming home nightly to help your child memorize these facts.  Please go over these flashcards, then sign and date the parent sheet.  We will also be working on Geometry this week in class.  Shapes, slides, flip, turns, and angles.

Science 3rd and 4th grade  We are learning about the Solar System and the bodies that makes up the solar system.  We will be making a book of our solar system that the students can take home and enjoy.  Students should not have homework.  They are given time in class to do their assignment.  If they do have homework it is because they did not finish it in class.  Please check your child's planner nightly.
