Reading grades 3/4 - AR required points for 3rd quarter is 15 point. 3 points in nonfiction, 3 points Native American, and 9 points fiction.
This week we will be practicing for our CRT testing that begins February 29th. For some of the students this is the first time for this test. They will need practice on how to take the tests and how to prepare for them. We have started the book, Judy Moody Goes to College. The students will be completing vocabulary terms, questions, and a book report.

Math 3rd grade
We are still working on multiplication with 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6,7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12. The flash cards will still be coming home nightly to help your child memorize these facts. Please go over these flashcards, then sign and date the parent sheet. We are also still working on division. This week we will be focusing on graphs such as line, bar, picture, and pie graphs.
Social Studies 3rd and 4th grade We are learning about different regions of the United States. We are creating a book that contains information about the different region and states. Students should not have homework. They are given time in class to do their assignment. If they do have homework it is because they did not finish it in class. Please check your child's planner nightly.
