Reading Class  - AR required points for 2nd quarter is 15 point. 

This short week we will be completing an activity with Frosty the Snowman.  This activity will work on story elements and comprehension.

Math Class 

My Math class is learning all multiplication and all the different strategies used to help them with their multiplication facts.  During this unit they are required to study their multiplication flash cards nightly.  This is for credit.  Please sign your child’s flash card parent signature sheet every night and return it to school on Wednesdays along with their reading logs.

 

Science

Ø Mr. Staffileno’s homeroom: I will be teaching your child about Earth Science for the next 4 weeks.  This week the class will be learning in depth about the water cycle.  A study guide was sent home Wednesday, December 17th.  The test is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, January 6th.

Ø Mrs. McMorris’ homeroom will be in Mrs. Staffileno’s science class for the next 4 weeks learning about Earth science.
