My Reading class will be starting the novel Sarah Plain and Tall.  During this novel we will be working on a number of skills which include: vocabulary skills, homophones, synonyms, antonyms, literary elements, friendly letter format, and comprehension questions.

Math Class

My Math class is working on their fraction unit.  They will be learning what a fraction stands for, how to represent a fraction, and how to compare fractions.  During this unit they are still required to study their multiplication and division flash cards nightly.  This is for credit.  Please sign your child’s flash card parent signature sheet every night and return it to school on Wednesdays along with their reading logs.
