• Field trip to the Alberta Bair Theater -Thursday

Reading Class  - AR required points for 4th quarter is 18 point. 5 points must be non-fiction. 

This week my class will be working on nonfiction skills while reading Life on the Ice.  We will be studying vocabulary and completing comprehension questions.

 

Math Class 

My Math class is working on their geometry unit.  During this unit they are still required to study their multiplication and division flash cards nightly.  This is for credit.  Please sign your child’s flash card parent signature sheet every night and return it to school on Wednesdays along with their reading logs.

 

Social Studies

Mrs. Staffileno’s homeroom will be starting my Social Studies unit this week on communities and the three branches of government.  This unit will continue with me for the next six weeks.  The students will have their first vocabulary quiz Friday, April 24th.  A study guide will go home Tuesday, April 21st.

My homeroom is studying Map Skills with Mr. Leintz.  Please check his blog for test dates.
