• Tuesday Folders will go home Tuesday, May 5th, please sign and return them Wednesday, May 6th with your child’s reading log and flash card sheet.
• Early out @ 1:00 on Wednesday, May 6^th.
• 3^rd grade music concert Friday, May 8^th @ 10:45.
• MAPS testing begins Friday.

Reading Class  - AR required points for 4th quarter is 18 point. 5 points must be non-fiction. 

This week our reading class will be reading the short story “How to Eat Fried Worms”.  We will be working on vocabulary, fact/opinion, comprehension questions, and cause/effect.

Math Class 

My Math class is working on their comparing fractions unit.  During this unit they are still to be practicing their flash cards.  The class will continue with timings on Mondays and Wednesdays until the end of the year.  Every student needs to pass the 10’s for fourth grade.

Social Studies

We will be starting our Social Studies unit this week on the history of Billings.  The students this week will be learning all about the history of their town.  We will be using the Kunos to look up important information about Billings to create a brochure of our findings.

My homeroom is studying Map Skills with Mr. Leintz.  Please check his blog for test dates.
