First Week of School!

September 2^nd-5^th

Spelling Words:                

No spelling words this week.  Spelling will start the week of September 15^th.

 

Reading Class  - AR required points for 1st quarter is 10 point. 

For the next two weeks in Reading my class will be investigating Hawks.  While doing this we will be working on the parts of speech.  At the end of the two weeks, the students will have created a poem that describes our investigation.

Math Class    Testing will be occurring this week.                             

 Science

I will be teaching your child about Earth Science for the next six weeks.  This week we will be learning about the layers of Earth, rocks, weathering, and erosion.   I will send home study guides for tests a week before the tests are scheduled.  The study guides should have everything your child will need to know for the tests.  Please look in your child’s planner to see when tests are scheduled and I will also let you know on this site.
