Good Morning,
CRT's started today and will run through Thursday for the 3rd grade and Friday for the 4th grade. Friday the 4th grade will be taking the science portion of the tests that 3rd grade does not have to complete. Due to this, there will be no math this week or reading. Spelling will still occur and a test is planned for Friday if your child is in my spelling class. A pretest should have a came home yesterday.
This week my homework will be concentrating on their writing samples for their writing notebooks. We will be completing in class an expository writing and an acoustic poem. Also, we will start to construct our volcanoes for science class. Your child will be asked to bring in any grass, leaves, sticks, toys, etc.. that they would like to put in their ecosystem for their volcanoes. This should be great fun! I am looking forward to it.
Science Fair was a hit! Thank you to all the parents for your hard work and support. The children did GREAT!
