Earth's Materials and Changes: Landforms

«     Introduction
You have been hired as an Elder Grove Ranger. As an Elder Grove Ranger, it is your responsibility to teach students about various landforms. This webquest is part of your training. It will help you explore a variety of landforms. Once you have completed it, you will be ready to share your knowledge with other students and train future Elder Grove Rangers. «     Task
After researching landforms, you will be able to create a book that you can share with Elder Grove students. Included in your book will be...
an illustration of each landform
a description of each landform
definitions of  mountains, plateau, valleys, canyons, and plains
 
When participating in these activities you will need to access the Internet for information and use your science notebook for taking notes. Any other supplies needed will be provided by your teacher. Please make sure you have read the necessary materials and know what is required.


«     Process
1. First your teacher will give you a scoring rubric for your project on landforms.
2. Search the sites below to learn about each landform. Add important and interesting facts that you find about each landform to your science notebook.
